The origin of the workpiece coordinate system should have an accurately defined geometric relationship with the reference point.

The origin of the workpiece coordinate system, also known as the program origin, does not necessarily have to coincide with the positioning datum of the workpiece, but a correct geometric relationship must be established between the two. Generally speaking, the selection of the origin of the workpiece coordinate system mainly considers the convenience of programming and measurement of the processing program. Only by determining the accurate geometric relationship can the correctness of the tool path in the program be ensured.
Second, the design reference of the workpiece should be used as the positioning reference as much as possible.
